The Basics
Medication management is our focus. Many assisted living residents are taking ten, twelve, even fourteen medications a day. PMG believes that the right tools coupled with strong, efficient communication between the resident, doctor, family, and pharmacy are the keys to helping each assisted living resident maintain independence. Timing makes the difference. PMG delivers medications daily, on time, and accurately. Daily deliveries help eliminate the wait for new medications, especially during flu season.
PMG believes in providing safe packaging. PMG dispenses all assisted living residents medications in packaging and labeling that ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Our custom labels were designed with the nurse and assisted living resident in mind. Large, bold letters clearly identify resident name, drug name, strength, and direction. (The right resident, the right medication, the right strength, the right time, and the right route.)
Consulting Services
R.Ph., B.S.N., LNHA, and NP’s on staff. Many assisted living residents have multi-doctor involvement, which can complicate the already dynamic structure of polypharmacy commonly found in the geriatric community. Simply put, “too many cooks in the kitchen.” PMG monitors this potential problem with our innovative tri-step approach:
Monthly drug regimen check
Each month our team of pharmacists reviews each resident’s entire prescription profile for allergies, drug interactions, and appropriate dosing.

Quarterly drug regimen review
(Conducted by a consultant pharmacist.) Our third party pharmacist performs an extensive review for polypharmacy, looks for inactive or unneeded prescriptions, looks at when medications are taken, and how the prescription profile as a whole can affect a resident’s mood and potential for falls.

Falls management program
We’re there for you when you need support the most. Within 24 hours of a fall, PMG will, once notified, review the resident’s prescription profile and provide the facility with any appropriate feedback. Count on us.
