Pharmacy

We efficiently process your prescriptions, fill them in a timely manner, deliver them to you promptly, and bill accurately for our services.  Every step of the way, you and your residents are of the utmost importance to us.

Packaging

One system. The right system. Unit dose punch cards provide an instant overview of the monthly usage of each medication at a glance. Our numbered punch cards help to facilitate an efficient med pass. Our complete packaging system allows the nurse to quickly and easily view all of the medications each resident is taking. By choosing punch cards, PMG can ensure your medication carts will remain organized, reducing the risk of errors. Our compliant packaging system lets you take back your valuable space by eliminating overstock and the need to store medications anywhere other than the medication cart, where they should be. Our slim, space saving cards, help to ensure all medications stay in the cart, available for immediate use, saving your nurses a trip back to the nursing station in the middle of a medication pass.

Ordering

Proactive. Automatic. Peace of mind. Our efficient automatic refill system dramatically reduces the risk of running out of medications. We refill most routine orders automatically, allowing you to focus on the chart, not the cart. No more pulling labels or cumbersome cycle fills restricting the use of your own medication carts. Each medication included in our auto refill system has a sticker placed on top of the card that shows the next refill date; it is that easy. If the med has a next refill sticker, it will be there when you need it.

ER Starter Boxes

Always available. You have the top 115 emergency medications at your fingertips 24/7 in our portable, secure Contingency Supply Box. Each box is exchanged with a fresh ER box that has been restocked and verified for accuracy by our pharmacists daily, eliminating the chance of a missing medication. 24-hour turnaround allows us to continually provide our customers with a full stock of emergency medications. By following PMG’s simple policy, you should not see charges to the facility. If a medication is missing, we notify you immediately, increasing accountability and eliminating unnecessary charges. Another innovative way we make life easier for you.

Delivery

Reliable. Friendly. Helpful. We carefully select professional courier resources that meet our exacting standards of customer service excellence. Our dedicated, courteous drivers not only get there on time, they make the medication check-in process quick and easy. The result—superior service for you.

Consulting Services

Clinical Support. We offer comprehensive monthly medication monitoring by MedAdvice consultant pharmacists for detail-oriented reviews performed by pharmacists with strong clinical backgrounds in geriatrics. Many residents are taking ten or more routine medications; Medadvice provides comprehensive monthly reviews focused on polypharmacy and appropriate dosing. MedAdvice physician recommendations are integrated into a form that is both easy to read and respond to. They provide the doctor of each resident with prudent clinical suggestions, such as eliminating medications from the profile when not given in the past six months, changing the time of day a diuretic is administered to aid in prevention of falls, and many other profile-specific recommendations. Our consultant pharmacists provide practical, timely support for your doctors and the entire clinical staff.

IV Support

Experience. PMG has responded to the trend of shorter hospital stays and an increased need for IV therapy by contracting with an experienced IV Support Service.  This team of IV specialists is certified in PICC and Midline insertions and is proficient in peripheral starts.  They are up-to-date with the latest INS standards and industry trends.  They utilize an ultrasound guided technique in the insertions of PICC and Midlines.  The use of ultrasound guided technique is the best standard of practice for placement of these lines.  Our clinical support staff can assist with policy/procedure development, clinical information, educational programs, emergency supplies, and IV medical records.   PMG is committed to meeting the infusion needs of your residents safely at the bedside
